Max Ivan Pierce, formerly of Delta County passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 in Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 21 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel in Cooper. Rev. Gary Regan will officiate with interment following in Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper.
Max was born June 17, 1952 in Commerce, Texas. He was the son of Clyde Ivan Pierce and Faye Nell Jeter (Worden) Pierce. He was a graduate of Cooper High School and moved to the Dallas area shortly after.
He is survived by a son; Zach Pierce of Navarre, Florida, a daughter; Destiny Pierce of Brooklyn, New York, sisters; Clydene Pierce an Susan Darnell, and by three grandchildren; Joshua, Jessi, and Jacob Pierce. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 until service time.
