Mona was born in Dallas, Texas on September 10, 1958 to Cecil Boyd and Dorothy Lee “White” Cornstubble. She was an Insurance Adjustor for Medical Claims.

Survivors include her son, Drew Drake, of Paris, Texas; 3 brothers: Leslie Boyd Cornstubble, Douglas Ray Cornstubble and Buddy Gene Cornstubble and her parents, Cecil and Dorothy Cornstubble.
