Mr. Oscar James (Sonny) Boyd, former Delta County resident passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his home in Enola, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 6 at the East Delta Baptist Church. Rev. Jake Vaughn will officiate with interment folowing in the East Delta Cemetery.
Mr. Boyd was born April 16, 1927 in Delta County. He was the son of Oscar James Boyd and Bonnie Catherine Simpson Boyd. He was a resident of California for a few years and had been a resident of Enola, Arkansas the past 37 years.
Survivors are his daughter; Brenda Paustian of the Colony and a grandson; Connor Paustian.
There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Funeral Home.
