Patsy Lou (Moore) Oyler

Patsy Lou “Moore” Oyler 95, went to her Heavenly home on Wednesday November 26, 2025.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday November 30, 2025, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel, Brother Johnny Witherspoon will officiate interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family at 1:30 p.m. prior to services.

Serving as Pallbears will be Bryan Oyler, Brandon Oyler, Dave W. Oyler, Marc Russell, Ryan Wolff, Ray Rodriquez, Matthew Russell, and Nathaniel Russell.

Patsy Lou was born November 15, 1930, at the overhead bridge near Enloe, Texas. She was the daughter of Gaither Delbert Moore and Bernice Elizabeth Whitaker Moore. They preceded her in death as well as her husband Dave G. Oyler, and sister Anna Jo Johnson.

Patsy graduated from Enloe High School in 1948 and attended East Texas State Teachers College. Patsy married Dave Gerald Oyler on July 2, 1950, in Enloe, Texas, they were married 64 years before his passing May 26, 2015.

Patsy, first and foremost, loved Jesus. She also loved her kids, grandchildren, great grandchildren and delighted in their activities and accomplishments.

Patsy lived in many places during her 95 years, but where she lived, she made many friends, She loved people. “Yoo-Hoo! “Gatherings and parties of all kinds were her forte, and she was always the crazy one in the group. She loved to have fun. Her other love was traveling the world on church mission trips with 1st Baptist Church Cooper and McKinney. Patsy and Dave enjoyed other group tours and traveling with Ramblin Sams in their “Rig.” The next trip was always on her radar.

Survivors include her two sons: Dave Delbert Oyler and wife Beverly of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Jay Lynn Oyler and wife Kristie of College Station, Texas. Grandchildren: Delaina (Marc) Russell, Bryan (Amanda) Oyler of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Brandon (Stephanie) Oyler of Longview, Texas, Rachel (Ryan) Wolff of Rockwall, Texas, Dave Wilson (Erin) Oyler of Friendswood, Texas, Kimberly (Ray) Rodriquez of Temple, Texas.

Great grandchildren: Matthew, Nathaniel, Kaitlyn Russell; Ava, Ali Oyler, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Stella, Lillian Oyler of Longview, Texas, Bethany, Benjamin, Adeline Wolff of Rockwall, Texas.

She will be missed by many.
