Perrinell Ward, 77, of Cooper, Texas passed away Tuesday May 23, 2023.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 28, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Cooper Texas, Darren Braddy will officiate, with interment to follow at Oaklawn cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday May 28, 2023, prior to service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Eulberg, Connor Sanders, Andrew Sanders, Colton Richardson, Daniel Dale Sanders, and Jason Rhyne.

Perrinell was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico April 22, 1946, to Don and Dorothea (Chapman) Nelson. They have preceded her in death, as well as a son Vernon Sanders, and brother Truman Nelson.

Perrinell retired from Burlington Northern Railroad as a switchman, and then was a truck driver for many years, she was a member of the First Baptist Church “Joy Fellowship”, a Sunday school teacher, and a big part of Hope House.

Survivors include sons Daniel Lee Sanders and wife Wendy of China, Warren Don Sanders and wife Patty of Copperas Cove, Texas, daughter Dareatha Rhyne and husband Jason of Paris, Texas, Ten grandchildren, Five great-grandchildren, brothers Jesse Nelson and wife Linda of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and Nathaniel Nelson of Paris, Texas.
