Richard Huie, 77 of Cooper, Texas passed away Saturday February 18, 2023.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday February 20, 2023, at Oaklawn Cemetery  James Hamilton will officiate. Family will receive friends and family from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Delta Funeral Home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jim Bradshaw, Zak Bradshaw, Ty Huie, Trevor Huie, L J Bradshaw, Danny Fisk.

Richard was born in Cooper, Texas January 10, 1946, to Gordon and Ida (Gunter) Huie. They preceded him in death as well as a brother Robert Huie.

Richard was Cooper City Manager (Mayor) for 18 years, was an Auctioneer for many years and a active member of Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife Jackie of 41 years of Cooper, Texas, son Richie Huie and wife Terra of Cooper, Texas, daughter Kayla Heavener and husband Brian of Magnolia, Texas Jennifer Bradshaw and husband Jim of Springtown, Texas, daughter Angie Hickey of LaPorte, Texas, son John Brent Harber and wife Kati of Lockhart, Texas, son Jeff Huie of Baytown, Texas, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, Sharon Rainey of Cumby, Texas, Jana Hammons of Commerce, Texas, Deborah McFadden of Rowlett, Texas, Jaleta Sims Paris, Texas.
