Obituary
Rodney Lee Young, 66 of Cooper, Texas, passed away Saturday November 26, 2022.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 1, 2022, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Lyn Dennis officiating, with interment to follow at Oaklawn cemetery. Family will receive friends and family from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday November 30, 2022, at Delta Funeral Home.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Tommy Anderson, Jason Ingram, Clay Ingram, Jordan Lien, Ethan Hinsley, and Jon Rankin
Rodney was born in Paris, Texas November 4, 1956, to James Howard and Gracie (Brewer) Young.
Preceded in death by his father James Howard Young, brother James Maxon Young, and a sister Jeanne Young.
Rodney loved hunting and being outdoors, he valued his time spent with friends and family.
Survivors include his mother Gracie Lee Young of Cooper, Texas, daughter Jennifer and Jason Smith of Edgewood, Texas, Five grandchildren Katrina Pulido, Sara Chaney, Baxter Chaney, Jaedyn Smith, Julian Smith, a sister Sandra Kay Lynch of Cooper, Texas, brother Billy and Stella Young of Bonham Texas, along with several nieces and nephews.
