Shirley Preas Obituary

Shirley Ann Preas, 74, of Cooper Texas, passed Wednesday August 18,2021.

Family will receive friends and family from 6-8 p.m. Saturday August 21,2021 at Delta Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday August 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Cooper, Texas with Brother Johnny Whitherspoon officiating, and a private graveside ceremony will be in Hickory Grove cemetery.

Serving as Pallbears will be grandsons Jake Worden, Tanner Phifer, Zane White, Jackson White, Eli Preas, and great grandson Braxton Wall.

Shirley was born in Enloe Texas December 18,1946 to Joe and Daymon (Huggins) Thompson. They Have preceded her in death as well as brothers Monroe Thompson and Allen Thompson and sister Melba Duckworth.

Shirley married Charlie Preas on February 13,1965 in Cooper Texas. Shirley was a homemaker, enjoyed garage sales, loved her yard work and flower beds, and loved her dog Mercy.

Survivors include husband Charlie Preas of Cooper, Texas daughter Tonya Preas Creasy and husband Jamie of Cooper, Texas, daughter Ramona and husband Jeff Phifer of Cooper, Texas, son Benton Preas and wife Kristy of Bonham, Texas, daughter Alicia White Husband Jud of Cooper, Texas, and a brother Keith Thompson of San Antonio, Texas.

Grandchildren Charla Wall and husband Danny, Jake Worden, Laramie Burden, and husband Chris, Daylee Beeler and husband Jacob, Tanner Phifer and wife Sydnye, Zane White, Hannah White, Jackson White, Eli Preas, Ali Preas, Arlie Weathers, and Avery Weathers

Great grandchildren Braxton Wall, Grayson Wall, Brennon Wall, Emersyn Wall, Wren Phifer, Bleu Phifer, and Charli Jo Beeler
