Steven Wayne Cain

Steven Wayne Cain 62, of Cooper, Texas passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday May 13, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Cooper, Texas Pastor Donnie Powers will officiate, with interment to follow at North Hopkins Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Anderson, Brian Arthur, Jimmy Busby, Skyler Pruitt, Cole Smith, and Jacob Smith.

Steven was born in Tyler, Texas on May 23, 1960, to Jerry Wayne and Amerylis Jane (White) Cain. They preceded him in death as well as brother-in-law Rick Jones, and sister-in-law Linda York.  

Steven was a truck driver for many years.

Steven and Deborah (Arthur) married September 4, 1982, in Dallas Texas.        

Survivors include his wife Deborah of Cooper, Texas, daughter Kristin Janes and husband Adam of Cooper, Texas, son Jack Cain and wife Hailee of Rockwall, Texas, three grandchildren Bentley Janes, Bryson Janes, Eliza Cain, sister Debbie Jones of Van, Texas, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ricky and Pam Arthur of Garland, Texas, sister-in-law Sharon Arthur of Cooper, Texas, as well as many nieces and nephews.
