Tara Janay Gross (Aunt Tila) 45 of Cooper, Texas passed away Sunday April 6, 2025.


Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday May 7, 2025, at the Charleston Methodist Church.  


Visitation will be from 10-11 am prior to the service at Charleston Methodist Church.


Tara was born in Greenville, Texas on July 7, 1979, to Gary Glenn and Vicki (Blevins) Gross. She was a 1997 honors graduate of Cooper High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Nursing from Paris Junior College.  Those that knew and loved her are going to miss her quick wit and humor. Tara (Tila) was an amazing Aunt who loved her two nieces very much.  She spent most of her time with her family and enjoyed watching her nieces play a variety of sports.


Tara was preceded in death by her father, as well as her grandparents: Ray and Daphne Blevins, Jimmy and Imogene Love, and her partner Dawn Smith.  


Survivors include her mother: Vicki Hicks and husband Pete of Lake Creek, Texas, sister: Trecia Nabors and husband Fletcher of Charleston, Texas, nieces: Jentry Nabors and Sawyer Nabors, numerous Aunts, Uncles, and extended family.
