W.H. Dutch Erwin Obituary
Mr. W.H. Dutch Erwin of Pecan Gap passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Paris.
Graveside services were held at the Pecan Gap Cemetery on August 17. Rev. Wayne Miller and Rev. Jim Barksdale officiated.
Mr. Erwin was born March 3, 1931 in Pecan Gap. He was the son of Henry Monroe Erwin and Allie Mae (Hidler) Erwin. On January 5, 1952 he married Jean Ann Briscoe who survives. He had been a lifelong resident of Pecan Gap and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Pecan Gap.
Survivors are his wife Jean Ann, three sons; Weldon Erwin of Commerce, Lindel Erwin of Greenville, and Joe Erwin of Pecan Gap and a daughter; Carol Billingsley of Katy, Texas, a brother Frank Erwin of Kiowa, Texas, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; Caren Joyce Erwin.
