Mr. WayneDale Swindell, 81 years of age of Sulphur Springs passed away December 12, 2012 in Sulphur Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 17 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jake Vaughn will officiate with graveside services following at 2:00 PM Monday at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
Mr. Swindell was born October 28, 1931 in Yuba, Oklahoma. He was the son of Luther Eugene and Tennie Marie (Seals) Swindell. He had been a resident of Malakoff and had recently moved to Sulphur Springs. He married Verna Mae Click in 1990.
Survivors include his wife Verna Mae of Sulphur Springs, daughters, Debra Scott and husband Terry, and Rosie Myers and her husband Mike, brother, Stanley Swindell and Sister Oleta Jenkins, six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Delta Funeral Home.
